Intel and SoftBank subsidiary SAIMEMORY are collaborating to commercialize Z-Angle Memory, an advanced DRAM technology that vertically stacks memory modules. Although the chips are at least three years away from release, ZAM could eventually replace the high-bandwidth memory that is currently in such high demand.
