Data from 30 billion Pokémon Go scans has been utilized to train advanced spatial navigation technology for military drones. The massive crowdsourced dataset provides highly detailed mapping capabilities that are now transitioning from mobile gaming to the defense sector. This military application was made possible through a strategic partnership between Niantic Spatial and Vantor.
