Researchers successfully enabled Secure Debug on an RP2350 A4 microcontroller by combining differential photon-emission microscopy with laser fault injection. The microscopy technique localized the debug enable register activity, allowing for a precise laser strike guided by SWD. This targeted injection successfully set the two specific bits required to restore secure debug access on the chip.
