The latest release of pgrust introduces batching, operator fusion, and SIMD to drastically improve query performance. Version 0.2 is now 30% faster than standard Postgres on OLTP workloads. Additionally, it achieves a 300x speedup on analytical benchmarks, outperforming both Postgres and Clickhouse.
