The Free Pascal Compiler and Lazarus IDE have introduced full dynamic package support, a highly anticipated feature over two decades in the making. This update enables developers to instantly install and deploy native Pascal components and plugins without needing to rebuild the entire IDE. Currently available through the GetLazarus fork, these compiler and runtime enhancements will eventually be merged into the mainline Lazarus release.
