A developer has successfully ported F-Zero X to the Nintendo 3DS, taking advantage of the handheld's highly accessible custom firmware scene compared to the more restricted Switch. The homebrew project will soon receive a major update adding online multiplayer, 64DD support, and QR code sharing for custom courses.
