Due to foreseeable compatibility and security concerns, yt-dlp is limiting and deprecating support for the Bun JavaScript runtime. Future releases will restrict compatibility to Bun versions 1.2.11 through 1.3.1. Users currently relying on Bun to execute the tool will need to adjust their environments or switch to an alternative runtime.
