FUZIX is a micro-Unix operating system designed for retrocomputing on old and resource-constrained hardware like 8-bit microcontrollers and the Raspberry Pi Pico. Although the project supports standard Unix-style processes and is making steady progress, poor documentation remains a notable issue for hobbyists. The development team is currently working on a portable C compiler to help alleviate the steep learning curve associated with the cross-compilation toolchain.
