We’re hiring a Software Engineer who’s excited about real-time messaging, passionate about having an impact in education, and experienced with Go, Postgres and cloud infrastructure.
What you'll be doing -Developing and maintaining the Campuswire backend system -Architecting efficient and creative solutions that scale -Building out our real-time text audio and video functionality using WebRTC and WebSockets
What you should have -Minimum of 4 years experience managing scalable cloud infrastructure -Minimum of 2 years experience writing Go and using WebSockets -Minimum of 2 year working with Postgres and Redis -Some experience using WebRTC -Attention to detail -Solid engineering capability with an eye towards performance and scalability
Bonus -Application programming experience -Experience as a TA during university
