We are looking for a full-stack engineer, or possibly a talented front or backend developer to help us build out our online platform that provides shipment visibility and facilitates picking up and delivering containers from ports across the US.

This is for a contract position and will be project based (open to hourly to fulltime). Work for some of the projects includes things like: - Integrating with third party vessel tracking APIs - Data parsing and cleansing from multiple disparate sources - Implementing new product features to improve our customer's work-flow - UI touch up and consistency improvements based on sketch designs
We are looking for someone who is - Experienced with building complex web applications. - Practiced in TDD - Has excellent attention to detail, QA experience is a plus. - Comfortable with modern JS frameworks (especially Ember.js), HTML and SCSS - Passionate about solving a real-world problem
The main components of the stack are Rails 5 on the backend with RSpec tests and Ember 3 on the front end with Ember QUnit.
